Welcome to IDO ZeroUPF, operated by IDO INTERNATIONAL HEALTH LTD (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the IDO ZeroUPF mobile application, software and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

1. EDUCATIONAL & NON-MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

1.1 Informational Purpose Only: IDO ZeroUPF and its AI food analysis tools provide ultra-processed food (UPF) detection, ingredient risk scoring, and lifestyle insights for educational, informational, and wellness optimization purposes only.
1.2 No Medical Advice: The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical nutrition prescriptions. The content provided through the Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition or dietary changes.
1.3 Algorithm & OCR Limitations: Additive detection, biometric impact estimates, and ingredient recognition rely on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and algorithmic approximations based on publicly available scientific literature. Absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of real-time product label processing is not guaranteed.

2. USER ACCOUNTS, SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions: The Service offers auto-renewable subscription plans for premium AI scanning and features.
2.2 Payment & iTunes Account Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID / iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
2.3 Auto-Renewal Policy: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
2.4 Managing & Canceling Subscriptions: You can manage or turn off auto-renewal in your App Store / Account Settings at any time after purchase.
2.5 Refunds: All purchases and refunds are governed strictly by the policies of Apple Inc. The Company does not directly issue refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All software code, user interface designs, visual elements, proprietary additive databases, AI scoring models, logos, trademarks, and algorithms embedded in the Service are the exclusive intellectual property of IDO INTERNATIONAL HEALTH LTD. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or underlying AI models of the Service.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data from our proprietary database.
- Use the Service for any unlawful, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

5.1 "As-Is" Service: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
5.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IDO INTERNATIONAL HEALTH LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of health outcome resulting from your reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the Service in the past six (6) months.

6. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
