IDO Healthiness ("we," "our," or "us") operates the IDO ZeroUPF: Additive Scanner mobile application and its related services within the IDO Healthiness ecosystem. Camera & Image Data (OCR Processing):
Collection: When you scan product labels, we require temporary access to your device's camera.
Usage: Image data is processed strictly via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to parse ingredient lists and analyze Ultra-Processed Food (UPF) additives.
Protection: Scanned photos are processed transiently for scoring purposes, are never stored on public servers, and are never sold or shared with third-party advertisers.

Device & System Analytics:
System language and locale settings (used exclusively for automatic switching between English and Traditional Chinese).
Technical telemetry (device model, OS version, app crash logs) to maintain app stability and performance.

Health & User Metric Data:
Voluntarily provided health metrics, dietary preferences, or scan history logs used to generate personalized UPF impact scores and gut recovery timelines.

Account & Purchase Data:
Unique User Identifier (UUID) and active subscription status to enable feature access across the IDO Healthiness ecosystem.

2. How We Use Information
We process your data strictly for legitimate operational and health personalization purposes:

Algorithm & Health Insights: To calculate UPF Health Scores, estimate personalized gut barrier recovery timelines, and render tailored health blueprints.

Ecosystem Synchronization: To securely manage active subscriptions, restore purchases, and sync user preferences across IDO Healthiness products (including IDO Fitness integrations).

Service Maintenance: To diagnose technical bugs, optimize OCR recognition accuracy, and enhance overall user experience.

3. Third-Party Services, Payments & Data Security
We implement robust administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information:

Data Transmission & Security: All communication between the App and backend servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. Data at rest is secured via AES-256 encryption.

Payment Processing: All in-app subscriptions and payments are securely processed by Apple In-App Purchase, Google Play Billing, or Stripe. We do not collect, process, or store raw credit card numbers or financial credentials on our servers.

Third-Party Infrastructure: We utilize trusted cloud infrastructure (e.g., Apple CloudKit/Firebase/Supabase) solely for data storage, authentication, and error reporting under strict legal confidentiality agreements.

4. User Rights, Data Erasure & Compliance

Account & Data Deletion (In-App):
You can permanently delete your account and clear all stored health/scan logs directly within the App via Menu → Delete Account.
Alternatively, you may submit a formal deletion request by contacting our privacy team. Upon receiving your request, all personal records will be permanently erased within 30 days.
